As the Odyssey approached the Nexus, Elara's crew was greeted by the Triumvirate's envoy, a tall, stoic Asari named Thalassar. Meanwhile, a shadowy figure aboard the Odyssey, a former Asari scientist named Lirana, was working on a plan of her own. Lirana's ambition was to harness this power for her own species, the Asari, and to reshape the Triumvirate's balance of power.
