"Mr. Kato, I need to speak with you," Elara said, her voice cutting through the noise.

He turned, his face pale and haunted. "Detective Quinn. I'm so glad you're here. Dr. Harrow was working on something... something she couldn't explain. She said it had to do with the Quantum Convergence and something called the Quantum Resonance Theory."

Elara leaned in, her interest piqued. "The Quantum Resonance Theory? What does that mean?"

"It's a theory that suggests that by tuning the Quantum Convergence to a specific frequency, we can open a portal to another dimension," Kato explained, his voice trembling. "Dr. Harrow believed she had discovered a way to stabilize the portal and make it safe for travel."

"But what does that have to do with Dr. Harrow's disappearance?" Elara pressed.

Kato looked at her, a mixture of fear and desperation in his eyes. "The portal... it's unstable. It's attracting entities from other dimensions. They're not like us, Detective. They're violent and chaotic. Dr. Harrow was trying to stop them, but she... she didn't make it."
